WHITBY relied on the scoring touch of Cassidy Vinkle, who netted two goals, to beat CAMBRIDGE, 4-0.

Vinkle's tallies came at 8:58 into the second period to make the score 1-0 WHITBY and 14:58 into the third to make the score 4-0 WHITBY.

CAMBRIDGE's power play was ineffective against WHITBY's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

WHITBY stifled CAMBRIDGE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. WHITBY kept CAMBRIDGE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Julia Vandyk made 40 saves on 44 shots.
