Kirsten Miller registered one point to lead OAKVILLE to a 2-1 victory over BARRIE.

OAKVILLE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five BARRIE power plays. OAKVILLE's offense rang up 37 shots on BARRIE's net. OAKVILLE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.

OAKVILLE also got a goal from Alessia Marchese as well. In addition, OAKVILLE received assists from Olivia Atkinson, Jordan Martin, Jennifer MacAskill, and Jacinta Kennedy, who contributed one a piece.

BARRIE was led by Kara Washer (PU), who scored the team's only goal. Washer (PU) scored 3:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BARRIE. Tory Harshman picked up the assist.

Stephanie Loukes made 24 saves for OAKVILLE on 25 shots. OAKVILLE registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. BARRIE's Alexx Ridding stopped 35 shots out of the 37 that she faced. BARRIE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
