Even though BURLINGTON's Logan Boyd netted two goals and Maggie Spratt-Mallick contributed zero points, BURLINGTON was held to a tie by LEASIDE, 2-2 (OT).

LEASIDE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five BURLINGTON power plays.

LEASIDE was helped by Alyssa Connolly, who tallied one goal. Connolly scored 4:30 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Anthea Lasis picked up the assist. Karli Sullivan also scored for LEASIDE. In addition, LEASIDE received assists from Sarah McGilvray, Elen Ananiadis, and Sam Corkum, who each chipped in one.

BURLINGTON stifled LEASIDE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. BURLINGTON forced LEASIDE goalie Karly Stratos to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

More assists for BURLINGTON came via Hayley McCalllum, Jessie Rietveld, and Tristyn Svetek, who contributed one a piece.
