BLUEWATER and ETOBICOKE played 60 tight minutes of hockey, but in the end it was BLUEWATER that came away with a 1-0 victory. Katherine Bailey provided the assist on the the contest's only goal.BLUEWATER was sparked by Karley Campbell, who racked up one goal. BLUEWATER was steadier on the defensive front than it has been for much of this season. BLUEWATER allows 2.2 goals per game. ETOBICOKE was unable to stop BLUEWATER from sending pucks towards the net, and BLUEWATER eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. ETOBICOKE stifled BLUEWATER's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Carley Molnar recorded 17 saves for BLUEWATER. BLUEWATER incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. ETOBICOKE's Christi Honor stopped 31 shots out of the 32 that she faced. ETOBICOKE ended with 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. ETOBICOKE ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Tegan Duncan was ejected from the game. |
