Behind a great game by Kennedy Marchment, who had one goal and two assists, DURHAM WEST defeated ETOBICOKE, 6-2.

Marchment beat Sarah Jamieson with a shot 13:03 into the second period to make the score 3-2 DURHAM WEST. Claire Balas picked up the assist. Marchment dished an assist on Emily Marks's goal that made the score 4-2 DURHAM WEST at 14:28 into the second period. He added another helper on Stephanie Ford's goal that made the score 5-2 DURHAM WEST at 17:15 into the third period.

DURHAM WEST pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes.

DURHAM WEST stifled ETOBICOKE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. ETOBICOKE was unable to stop DURHAM WEST from sending pucks towards the net, and DURHAM WEST eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. DURHAM WEST's goal total was higher than its season average. DURHAM WEST has scored at the pace of 3.0 goals per game during the current campaign.
