BRAMPTON rolls over DURHAM WEST, 4-1

BRAMPTON had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over DURHAM WEST.

Kassidy Nauboris (PU) had one goal and two assists to lead BRAMPTON. Nauboris (PU) scored 12:25 into the first period to make the score 2-1 BRAMPTON. Lindsey Smith provided the assist.

BRAMPTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. BRAMPTON found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 11 shots against DURHAM WEST's defense.

BRAMPTON additionally got points from Chelsea Ball, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for BRAMPTON included Alessia Pasquariello and Emily Landry (PU), who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for BRAMPTON were Meagan OBrien, Jillian Battista, and Jessica Geddes, who contributed one a piece.

DURHAM WEST put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow BRAMPTON to score on any of its three power plays. DURHAM WEST's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. DURHAM WEST is averaging 1.5 goal against for the season.

DURHAM WEST was led by Kennedy Marchment, who scored the team's only goal. Marchment scored 7:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 DURHAM WEST. Stephanie Ford picked up the assist.

Katie Bidulka made 21 saves for BRAMPTON on 22 shots. BRAMPTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Melissa Black took the loss and made six saves before being replaced by Stephanie Sluys who made one save. DURHAM WEST incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
