MISSISSAUGA's penalty kill was superb, as MISSISSAUGA survived multiple penalties to beat AURORA, 2-1.

MISSISSAUGA was led by Caitlyn Sadowy, who tallied one goal and one assist. Sadowy scored 19:49 into the third period to make the score 2-1 MISSISSAUGA. Kelly Mariani provided the assist.

MISSISSAUGA stifled AURORA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. MISSISSAUGA's offense rang up 33 shots on AURORA's net. MISSISSAUGA was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 16 penalty minutes.

Stephanie Sucharda also scored for MISSISSAUGA. Other players who recorded assists for MISSISSAUGA were Kristen Lucas and Ashley Rothon, who contributed one a piece.

AURORA was led by Maddison Lee, who scored the team's only goal. Lee scored 5:51 into the second period to make the score 1-0 AURORA. Maresa Benacquista picked up the assist.

MISSISSAUGA's Amelia Boughn stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that she faced. MISSISSAUGA registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Taylor Lemmon made 31 saves for AURORA on 33 shots. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
