LEASIDE beat WATERLOO, 3-1, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

Elen Ananiadis provided LEASIDE with the game-winning tally when she scored 3:43 into the the first period. Kimberly Brown (PU) picked up the assist.

LEASIDE's Karly Stratos was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 28 saves and let only one puck past him. Stratos managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 3.41 prior to the game.

LEASIDE was led by Alex Maw(PU), who racked up one goal. Maw(PU) scored 7:55 into the first period to make the score 2-0 LEASIDE. Sarah McGilvray provided the assist.

LEASIDE also got a goal from Alyssa Connolly as well. In addition, LEASIDE received assists from Maria Stratos, who had one.

WATERLOO was led by Laura Irwin, who scored the team's only goal. Irwin scored 10:27 into the third period to make the score 2-1 LEASIDE. Hannah Davidson assisted on the tally.

LEASIDE incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Cohen Myers made 19 saves for WATERLOO on 22 shots. WATERLOO incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
