MISSISSAUGA survived a determined comeback attempt by BRAMPTON on the way to a 3-2 win. MISSISSAUGA took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have BRAMPTON storm back on a Christina Ieradi goal 6:03 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Victoria Bach had two goals to lead MISSISSAUGA to victory. BRAMPTON was unable to stop MISSISSAUGA from sending pucks towards the net, and MISSISSAUGA eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. MISSISSAUGA also got points from Kristen Lucas, who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for MISSISSAUGA were Shana Walker and Lindsay Agnew, who contributed one a piece. BRAMPTON's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three MISSISSAUGA power plays. Isabella Triolo also scored for BRAMPTON. In addition, BRAMPTON received assists from Vanessa Tavares, Alessia Pasquariello, Emily Landry (PU), and Chelsea Ball, who each chipped in one. Amelia Boughn recorded 26 saves for MISSISSAUGA. MISSISSAUGA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. BRAMPTON's Isabelle Hunter stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that she faced. BRAMPTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
