DURHAM WEST found itself down againt BLUEWATER, but battled back to secure to a 1-1 (OT) tie.

BLUEWATER's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six DURHAM WEST power plays. DURHAM WEST was unable to stop BLUEWATER from sending pucks towards the net, and BLUEWATER eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

BLUEWATER was led by Taylor Philip, who scored the team's only goal. Philip scored 3:49 into the second period to make the score 1-0 BLUEWATER. Lauren Lefler picked up the assist.

DURHAM WEST was led by Kennedy Marchment, who scored the team's only goal. Marchment scored 13:57 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Alysha Burriss provided the assist.

BLUEWATER's Carley Molnar stopped 24 shots out of the 25 that she faced. BLUEWATER incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Stephanie Sluys made 31 saves for DURHAM WEST on 32 shots. DURHAM WEST incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
