BRAMPTON took the lead against LEASIDE in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-1 victory.

A goal 9:03 into the the first period by KJ Uyeno (A) proved to be the game winner, and powered BRAMPTON to the victory Jillian Battista picked up the assist.

BRAMPTON was led by Isabella Triolo, who finished with one goal. Triolo scored 4:44 into the second period to make the score 2-0 BRAMPTON. Vanessa Tavares assisted on the tally.

BRAMPTON put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LEASIDE to score on any of its three power plays.

In addition, BRAMPTON received assists from Chelsea Ball, who had one.

LEASIDE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three BRAMPTON power plays.

LEASIDE was led by Alyssa Connolly, who scored the team's only goal. Connolly scored 13:31 into the second period to make the score 2-1 BRAMPTON. Katriona McNeilly provided the assist.
