xGreat Falls shrugs off penalties, upends Bozeman, 7-1

The Bozeman Icedogs failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the xGreat Falls Americans shook off a number of penalties to win, 7-1.

xGreat Falls was led by Lucas Lomax, who finished with one goal and one assist. Lomax scored 2:44 into the second period to make the score 2-0 xGreat Falls. Connor Barta picked up the assist.

The the Americans penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled seven minors and one major for 39 minutes in penalty time. xGreat Falls had been averaging 21.0 minutes in penalties per game.
