The Great Falls Americans pulled out a 1-0 (OT) overtime victory over the Billings Bulls on a clutch goal by Dylan Garton.

Garton's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 1:34 in the fifth period. Cody Page provided the assist.

Great Falls was sparked by Garton, who grabbed one goal.

The Americans stifled Billings' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Great Falls did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Americans average 4.8 goals per game. Great Falls' defense was surprisingly good. The Americans gives up 2.4 goals on average per game. Great Falls kept the Bulls' goalie busy throughout the game, and Daniel Oordt made 45 saves on 46 shots.

In addition, Great Falls received assists from Lucas Stover, who had one.

Billings' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Great Falls power plays. The Bulls were held below their usual level of production. Billings puts an average of 3.0 pucks into the net per game.
