Billings downs Great Falls in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Christian Akita gave the Billings Bulls a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Great Falls Americans when he scored 1:41 into the extra period.

T J Theodosopoulos had one goal and two assists to lead Billings. Theodosopoulos scored 19:50 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Tristen Heinrichs assisted on the tally.

Others who scored for Billings included Bryce Jensen and Joseph Mata, who scored one goal each. More assists for Billings came via Ralfs Karelis, Matt Myers, and Sam Orth, who contributed one a piece.

Great Falls stifled the Bulls' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Americans' offense rang up 31 shots on Billings' net.

Great Falls was helped by Craig Bufford, who racked up one goal. Bufford scored 12:36 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Great Falls. Brady Christiaens picked up the assist. Great Falls additionally got points from Zachary Mese, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Doug Keller also scored for Great Falls. In addition, Great Falls received assists from Dylan Garton, Lucas Lomax, and Max Kaercher, who each chipped in one.

The Bulls' Daniel Oordt stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that he faced. Billings incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Evan Hauser recorded 26 saves for the Americans. Great Falls incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
