Gillette downs Bozeman in overtime, 3-2 (OT)Campbell County Ice Arena Sat, Nov 23, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Gillette Wild's Dalton McCann scored 1:25 into overtime to beat the Bozeman Icedogs, 3-2 (OT). Gillette overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Wild was down 2-0 after a goal by Bozeman's Gunnar Mogck at 10:53 in the first period. Gillette tied things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Andrii Istominov at 12:01 in the third period. The Wild were sparked by McCann, who racked up one goal. Gillette put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Icedogs to score on any of their five power plays. The Wild's offense rang up 42 shots on Bozeman's net. Gillette also got a goal from Tj Mcminn as well. Other players who recorded assists for Gillette were Greg Sauers, Brandon Miller, Will Fobair, Moco Willis, Jonathan Kasdorf, and Darren Banks, who contributed one a piece. Bozeman also got points from Jake Nelson, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Bozeman came via Jake Nicks, who had two. Gillette's Josh Beatty stopped 14 shots out of the 16 that he faced. The Wild incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Zach Skop made 39 saves for the Icedogs on 42 shots. Bozeman incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
