The Gillette Wild relied on the scoring touch of Alex King, who netted two goals, to beat the Bozeman Icedogs, 3-1. The Icedogs were led by Jason Demczak, who scored the team's only goal. Demczak scored 10:51 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Gillette. Kegan Couture provided the assist. Gillette totaled 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors and two majors and went 1-for-2 on the power play. Bozeman's Zach Skop stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that he faced. The Icedogs totaled 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors and two majors and went 0-for-5 on the power play.
