The Bozeman Icedogs pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Billings Bulls on a clutch goal by A J Mussfeldt.

Bozeman pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

The Icedogs were paced by Mussfeldt, who grabbed one goal. Mussfeldt scored 1:16 into to make the score 3-2 Bozeman. Gunnar Mogck picked up the assist.

Bozeman kept Billings' goalie busy throughout the game, and Mark Becica made 33 saves on 36 shots.

Bozeman also got points from Mogck, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Austin Nottke, who also tallied one goal and one assist. More assists for Bozeman came via Kegan Couture, who had one and Chase Engdahl, who had two.

The Bulls forced the Icedogs goalie Zach Skop to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

Billings was helped by Stephen Thompson, who registered one goal. Thompson scored on the power play 18:35 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Billings. The Bulls earned a power play opportunity when Engdahl was put in the box for head contact. Ralfs Karelis assisted on the tally. Billings additionally got points from Karelis, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Billings were Christian Akita, who had one.

Skop rejected 31 shots on goal for Bozeman. The Icedogs registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. Billings incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
