Kinder leads Glacier over Billings, 4-1

Behind a great game by Paul Kinder, who had two goals and two assists, Glacier defeated the Billings Bulls, 4-1.

Kinder scored on the power play at 3:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Glacier and again while on the power play 9:04 into the first to make the score 2-0 Glacier.

Glacier's Pierre Gustafsson was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 34 saves and let only one puck past him.

Glacier pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 18 penalty minutes.

Glacier had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just two goals on nine chances.

Glacier additionally got points from John Tesarek, who also registered one goal and one assist. Jackson Schroeder also scored for Glacier. In addition, Glacier received assists from Corbin Emery, Tanner Dodd, Chris Cutshall, Brett Fernandez, and Jonas Svehn, who each chipped in one.

Billings forced Glacier goalie Gustafsson to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

The Bulls were led by Ralfs Karelis, who scored the team's only goal. Karelis scored on the power play 10:16 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Glacier. Billings had taken the advantage when Glacier's Emery got sent off for elbowing. T J Theodosopoulos provided the assist.

The Bulls' Ray Smith stopped 18 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Billings incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
