Evan Hauser was superb between the pipes for the Great Falls Americans, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Gillette Wild. Great Falls was led by Brady Christiaens, who had one goal. Christiaens scored on the power play 7:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls. The Americans had taken the advantage when Gillette's Darren Banks got sent off for slashing. Zachary Mese picked up the assist. Great Falls' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Gillette power plays. The Americans were held below their usual level of production.
