Helena downs Glacier, 5-2Stumptown Ice Den Sat, Sep 28, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Damon Hanson finished with one point to lead the Helena Bighorns to a 5-2 victory over Glacier. In the losing effort, Glacier was paced by John Tesarek, who tallied two goals. Tesarek scored the first of his two goals at 2:11 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Helena. Chris Cutshall picked up the assist. Tesarek's next tally made the score 2-2 with 7:24 left in the second period. A holding penalty on Brian Skillicorn had put Glacier on the power play. Cutshall assisted on the tally. Helena forced Glacier goalie Anthony Benvenuti to work between the pipes, taking 71 shots. Helena additionally got points from Dylan Webster, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Logan Henne, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Helena also got a goal from Theo Campe as well. More assists for Helena came via Sebastian Hansson, who had two and Nick Okada, Jacob Wolter, Parker Olson, Danny Case, and Ryan Webber, who contributed one a piece. In addition, Glacier received assists from Corbin Emery and Jonas Svehn, who each chipped in one. Austin Brihn rejected 22 shots on goal for the Bighorns. Helena incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Anthony Benvenuti made 66 saves for Glacier on 71 shots. Glacier incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
