Huntsville downs Bloomington in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The Huntsville Havoc's Scott Harff scored 1:26 into overtime to beat the Bloomington Thunder, 2-1 (OT).

Huntsville was led by goalie Kevin Genoe, who finished with 32 saves while allowing one goal. Genoe certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.54 entering the contest.

The Havoc were paced by Harff, who tallied one goal.

Huntsville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Bloomington power plays.

Justin Alonzo also scored for Huntsville. Other players who recorded assists for Huntsville were Josh Harris, who had two and Stuart Stefan and Dominic Osman, who contributed one each.

Bloomington found itself short handed often, totaling 23 penalty minutes and allowing eight power plays. The Thunder's offense rang up 33 shots on the Havoc's net.

Bloomington was led by Nic Polaski, who scored the team's only goal. Polaski scored 19:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bloomington. Travis Granbois provided the assist.

Huntsville ended with 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major. BJ OBrien recorded 24 saves for the Thunder.
