Mississippi Surge downs Mississippi RiverKings in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Mississippi Surge pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Mississippi RiverKings on a clutch goal by Ian Boots.

Boots was all over the ice for Mississippi Surge, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Boots scored the first of his two goals at 1:33 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Anthony Battaglia provided the assist. Boots' next tally made the score 4-3 Mississippi Surge with 16:26 left in overtime. Kyle Kudroch assisted on the tally.
