The Knoxville Ice Bears failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and Mississippi RiverKings shook off a number of penalties to win, 5-2.

Mississippi RiverKings was sparked by Mike Hayward, who registered one goal and one assist. Hayward scored on the power play 14:59 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Mississippi RiverKings.
