Joe Caveney had two goals and two assists to lead the Pensacola Ice Flyers to a 6-2 victory over the Columbus Cottonmouths. Caveney scored on the power play at 1:19 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Columbus and again while 3:33 into the second to make the score 3-3.Pensacola pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 24 penalty minutes. The Ice Flyers surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Pensacola averages 3.6 goals per game. By firing 46 shots on goal, the Ice Flyers exceeded the 36.6 shots they average per game this year. Pensacola additionally got points from Mitchell Good, who also registered one goal and four assists to lead the team in points. Shaun Arvai also scored for Pensacola.
