Huge game by Davidson boosts Walkerton over Kincardine, 7-4Walkerton Community Centre Fri, Nov 08, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Drew Davidson had two goals and one assist to lead the Walkerton Hawks to a 7-4 victory over the Kincardine Bulldogs. Davidson scored at 4:31 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Walkerton and again while 18:43 into the third to make the score 7-4 Walkerton.Walkerton's offense rang up 40 shots on Kincardine's net. Walkerton additionally got points from Shane MacDonald, who also had one goal and one assist, Lauchlin Elder, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Brett Coulson, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Walkerton also got a goal from David Gallo as well. In addition, Walkerton received assists from Jordan Turcotte, who had two and Brooks Nelthorpe and Calvin Penney, who each chipped in one. The Bulldogs were helped by Sam Feagan, who tallied one goal. Feagan scored on the power play 5:30 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Walkerton. Kincardine had taken the advantage when the Hawks' Nathan Kramer got sent off for interference. Brock Pinnell picked up the assist. Matt Baker also scored for Kincardine. More assists for Kincardine came via Dave Mercer, Mike Smailes, Colin Whitfield, Paul Lamont, and Cody Britton, who contributed one a piece. Trevor Fleming made 19 saves for Walkerton on 23 shots. The Hawks incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Bulldogs' Mitch Campbell stopped 33 shots out of the 39 that he faced. Kincardine incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. |
