Carey leads Dundas over Glanbrook, 7-4

Cody Carey had two goals and two assists to lead the Dundas Blues to a 7-4 victory over the Glanbrook Rangers.

Carey scored at 7:07 into the third period to make the score 4-4 and again while 15:42 into the third to make the score 6-4 Dundas.

Dundas stifled Glanbrook's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Blues' offense rang up 36 shots on the Rangers' net. Dundas found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Blues average 3.7 goals per game.

Dundas also got points from Alex Aquin, who also had one goal and one assist, Cam McConnell, who also racked up two goals and one assist, and Brayden Knott, who also registered one goal and one assist. Dundas also got a goal from Matt Johnson as well. Other players who recorded assists for Dundas were Garret Incze, who had three, Dan Davies and Andrew Wooning, who each chipped in one, and Nick McMullen and Kevin Jaczenko, who contributed two a piece.

Glanbrook forced Dundas goalie Davies to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots.

The Rangers were helped by Tyler Strabac, who registered one goal. Strabac scored 16:08 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Glanbrook. Kyle Dumais provided the assist. Others who scored for Glanbrook included Chris Haigh, Curtis Edwards, and Keifer MacInness, who scored one goal each. In addition, Glanbrook received assists from Drew Jedrzejewicz, Anthony Whitwell, Derek Goodwin, and Brandon Elliot, who each chipped in one.

Dan Davies made 35 saves for the Blues on 39 shots. Dundas incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Tom Acciaroli rejected 29 shots on goal for Glanbrook. The Rangers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
