The game between the Glanbrook Rangers and the Dunnville Jr. Mudcats was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Glanbrook emerged with a 5-3 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Cole Anderson at 6:58 of the second period.

Anderson was all over the ice for the Rangers, as he tallied two goals in the win.

Glanbrook forced Dunnville goalie Jesse Schoeman to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Glanbrook also got points from Curtis Edwards, who also registered one goal and one assist, Keifer MacInness, who also had one goal and one assist, and Derek Vanenberg, who also finished with one goal and one assist. In addition, Glanbrook received assists from Buddy MacLean, Kyle Dumais, Joel Tivanian, and Jay Creen, who contributed one a piece.

The Jr. Mudcats' offense rang up 48 shots on the Rangers' net.

Dunnville was helped by Hayden Molen, who grabbed one goal. Molen scored 8:55 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Dunnville. Landon Minor provided the assist. Dunnville additionally got points from Tyler Springer, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Brandon Schmalz also scored for Dunnville. More assists for Dunnville came via Luke Stevens, who had two and Matt Potter and Davis Hart, who each chipped in one.

Glanbrook's Matt Sagrott stopped 45 shots out of the 48 that he faced. The Rangers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Jesse Schoeman made 30 saves for the Jr. Mudcats on 35 shots. Dunnville totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. For the Jr. Mudcats, Molen was ejected from the game.
