Dundas downs Glanbrook, 2-1

Jason Campbell registered one point to lead the Dundas Blues to a 2-1 victory over the Glanbrook Rangers.

Dundas' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Glanbrook power plays. The Blues were held below their usual level of production. Dundas puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. The Blues forced Glanbrook goalie Mathew Venturelli to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Kevin Jaczenko also scored for Dundas. Other players who recorded assists for Dundas were Nick McMullen and Patty McKay, who contributed one a piece.

The Rangers' offense operated below they season average. Glanbrook averages 3.7 goals per game.

The Rangers were led by Keifer MacInness, who scored the team's only goal. MacInness scored 7:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Glanbrook. Curtis Edwards assisted on the tally.

Brock Novak rejected 24 shots on goal for Dundas. The Blues incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Dundas ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Thomas Dowling was ejected from the game. Mathew Venturelli made 32 saves for Glanbrook on 34 shots. The Rangers ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major. For Glanbrook, Derek Vanenberg was ejected from the game.
