Lambeth rides Trudell to victory over Dorchester, 3-1

JP Trudell had a standout game with 42 saves, and the Lambeth Lancers beat the Dorchester Dolphins 3-1.
Lambeth was led by Randy Hicks, who racked up one goal. Hicks scored on the power play 18:40 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Lambeth. A tripping penalty on Cale Duberry had put the Lancers on the power play. Kale Corbeth provided the assist.
Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 7:35 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.
Lambeth's offense rang up 49 shots on Dorchester's net.
Lambeth also got points from Mitch Furlonger, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Nick North also scored for Lambeth. In addition, Lambeth received assists from Tanner Smith, who had one.
The Dolphins did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Dorchester averages 5.3 goals per game. The Dolphins' offense rang up 43 shots on the Lancers' net.
Lambeth totaled 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors and went 1-for-6 on the power play. For the Lancers, Trevor Daynes and Mitch Thomas were ejected from the contest. Craig Wood made 46 saves for the Dolphins on 48 shots. Dorchester totaled 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and two majors and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Team's Matt Ross and Colin Hartwick were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
