Port Stanley downs North Middlesex, 5-2

The North Middlesex Stars fell to the Port Stanley Sailors, 5-2.
North Middlesex was unable to stop Port Stanley from sending pucks towards the net, and the Sailors eventually piled up 51 shots on goal.
Port Stanley was helped by Findley Brandon, who tallied one goal. Brandon scored 5:51 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Port Stanley. Connor Tamborro provided the assist. Port Stanley also got points from Tanner Turley, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Zak Jukna, who also had one goal and one assist. Port Stanley also had goals scored by Zachary Zinga and Alex Weaver, who scored one goal each. More assists for Port Stanley came via Tyler Beaulieu, who had two and Andrew Yurek, Anders Adzija, and Josh Reda, who contributed one a piece.
The Stars put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Sailors to score on any of their three power plays. The defensemen of North Middlesex were also effective in Port Stanley's zone, and came away with two goals.
The Stars were led by Greg Masschelein, who registered one goal. Masschelein scored on the power play 14:14 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Port Stanley. North Middlesex had taken the advantage when the Sailors' Mark Brisson got sent off for roughing. Tom Bedour assisted on the tally. North Middlesex also got a goal from Nolan Vlasman as well. In addition, North Middlesex received assists from Greg Apps, Mack O Keefe, and Luke Fraser, who each chipped in one.
