The Lambeth Lancers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over the Port Stanley Sailors. Lambeth was led by goalie JP Trudell, who finished with 38 saves while allowing one goal. Trudell certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.54 entering the contest. Port Stanley's power play was ineffective against the Lancers' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Lambeth stifled the Sailors' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Lancers' offense rang up 39 shots on Port Stanley's net. Lambeth was led by Mitch Furlonger, who tallied one goal and one assist. Furlonger scored 4:05 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Lambeth. Lambeth additionally got points from Jordan Spavor, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Lambeth also had goals scored by Josh Bumpus, Tanner Smith, and Mike Golinowski, who each put in one. More assists for Lambeth came via Kale Corbeth, who had two and Ryan Pennington, Nick North, Nick Griffin, and Warren Hargraves, who contributed one a piece.
