The North Middlesex Stars had trouble finding ways to stop the Dorchester Dolphins, which beat Stars, 8-1.

Chad Brulotte had two goals and one assist to lead Dorchester. Brulotte scored the first of his two goals at 10:36 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Dorchester. The Stars were led by Luke Fraser, who scored the team's only goal. Fraser scored on the power play 9:40 into the third period to make the score 6-1 Dorchester. North Middlesex had gotten the advantage when Dorchester's Brulotte was sent off for tripping. Mike Sharpe provided the assist.

Colton James made 14 saves for the Dolphins on 15 shots. Dorchester incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Matt Lockwood rejected 34 shots on goal for the Stars. North Middlesex incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
