Lambeth rips Mt.Brydges, 6-0

The Lambeth Lancers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs.

Lambeth's penalty kill excelled, as the Lancers gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Lambeth was led by Matt Schurr, who registered one goal. Schurr scored on the power play 12:36 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lambeth. The Lancers had taken the advantage when Mt.Brydges' Connor Lovie got sent off for hooking. Ryan Pennington provided the assist.

Lambeth stifled the Bulldogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Lancers featured an improved defense during the game. Lambeth allows 2.3 goals per game. The Lancers' offense rang up 46 shots on Mt.Brydges' net.

Lambeth also got points from Mitch Furlonger, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Lambeth also had goals scored by Warren Hargraves, who had two and Kale Corbeth and Riley Gilmore, who scored one goal each. In addition, Lambeth received assists from Justin Clark, who had two and Nick North, Tanner Smith, Mike Golinowski, and Nick Griffin, who contributed one a piece.

The Bulldogs' offense operated below they season average. Mt.Brydges puts an average of 2.3 pucks into the net per game. The Bulldogs struggled on the penalty kill, allowing Lambeth to score three power play goals on five chances.

Logan Ferrington made 24 saves for the Lancers on 24 shots. Lambeth incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Mt.Brydges' Andrew Harrimand-Duke stopped 40 shots out of the 46 that he faced. The Bulldogs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
