The Port Stanley Sailors' Nicholas Phillips scored 2:59 into overtime to beat the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs, 5-4 (OT). Alex Weaver had a great game for Port Stanley, netting two goals. Weaver found the back of the net 14:14 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 9:36 into the third to make the score 4-3 Port Stanley. The Sailors forced Mt.Brydges goalie Matt Lockwood to work between the pipes, taking 66 shots. Team could not crack the Bulldogs' penalty kill and was held to one power play goal while having 11 opportunities to play with the man advantage. Port Stanley additionally got points from Dylan Bedard, who also had one goal and one assist. Port Stanley also got a goal from Josh DenOtter as well. Other players who recorded assists for Port Stanley were Tanner Turley, who had three and Andrew Yurek, Keaton McIntyre, Andrew Fenn, Mark Brisson, and Findley Brandon, who contributed one a piece. Mt.Brydges' offense rang up 31 shots on Port Stanley's net. The Bulldogs could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 36 minutes in penalties during the game.
