Dorchester's Ford deadly on offense in 9-0 win against North Middlesex

Gus Ford had four goals to lead the Dorchester Dolphins to a 9-0 victory over the North Middlesex Stars.

Ford got on the scoresheet 33 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 11:03 into the second, at 1:01 into the third, and at 5:36 into the third.

Dorchester stifled North Middlesex's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Dolphins' defensive effort looked to be improved. Dorchester gives up 2.5 goals on average per game. The Dolphins' offense rang up 54 shots on the Stars' net. Dorchester found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Dolphins average 5.4 goals per game.

Dorchester additionally got points from Patrick Freel, who also registered one goal and two assists and Tommy Prokes, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Dorchester also had goals scored by Connor Lovell, Ben Lawton, and Bryan McCauley, who each put in one. More assists for Dorchester came via Brendon O Shaughnessy, who had four and Tyler Blue, Tyler Vere, Matt Cormier, Liam Gillooly, Cale Duberry, Chad Brulotte, Tyler Kerr, and Colin Hartwick, who contributed one a piece.

Matt Poley (APM) made 15 saves for Dorchester on 15 shots. The Dolphins incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Dane Gubbels rejected 45 shots on goal for North Middlesex. The Stars incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
