Galante's goals lift Thamesford to 3-1 victory over North Middlesex

Fabio Galante was all over the ice for the Thamesford Trojans, as he tallied two goals in Thamesford's 3-1 win over the North Middlesex Stars.

Galante scored at 7:13 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Thamesford and again while 19:27 into the third to make the score 3-1 Thamesford.

The Trojans' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three North Middlesex power plays. Thamesford was held below its usual level of production. The Trojans average 5.2 goals per game. Thamesford's offense rang up 58 shots on North Middlesex's net.

Alex Lumani also scored for Thamesford. More assists for Thamesford came via Stavros Mandrapilias, Mitch Davies, and Nicholas Moniz, who each chipped in one.

The Stars excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

North Middlesex was led by Brady Smith (APM), who scored the team's only goal. Smith (APM) scored 6:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 North Middlesex. Dylan Carroll assisted on the tally.

The Trojans took out Jake Fonti after he had made 14 saves and installed Alex Hutcheson in goal, where he finished with two saves and the win. Thamesford incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Stars' Alex Foster stopped 55 shots out of the 57 that he faced. North Middlesex incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
