The Port Stanley Sailors forced Lucan goalie Joe Frustaglia to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

The Irish excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Lucan did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Irish average 4.6 goals per game. Lucan kept Port Stanley's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ricky Corkum made 33 saves on 35 shots.
