Lambeth pulls away in second, rolls over Mt.Brydges, 5-0

The Lambeth Lancers scored three goals in the second period to pull away from the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs and clinch a 5-0 win.

Lambeth was led by Cody Wuytenburg, who racked up one goal. Wuytenburg scored 15:55 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lambeth.

The Lancers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Lambeth's offense rang up 39 shots on Mt.Brydges' net.

Others who scored for Lambeth included Warren Hargraves, who had two and Justin Clark and Matt Schurr, who each put in one. More assists for Lambeth came via Ryan Pennington and Kale Corbeth, who each chipped in three.

The Bulldogs were held below their usual level of production. Mt.Brydges averages 2.1 goals per game.

The Lancers' Logan Ferrington stopped 18 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Lambeth incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Andrew Harrimand-Duke made 34 saves for the Bulldogs on 39 shots. Mt.Brydges incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
