Lambeth rips North Middlesex, 9-0

The Lambeth Lancers had a six-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-0 win over the North Middlesex Stars.

Riley Gilmore was all over the ice for Lambeth, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Gilmore scored 4:10 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Lambeth. Austin Blais provided the assist.

The Lancers forced North Middlesex's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, racking up 52 shots and forcing 43 saves. Dane Gubbels made 30 stops and Alex Foster made 13. Lambeth's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five North Middlesex power plays. The Lancers surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Lambeth averages 6.0 goals per game.

Lambeth also got points from Nick North, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Mike Golinowski, who also had two goals and one assist, Randy Hicks, who also registered one goal and two assists, and Mitch Thomas, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Lambeth also got a goal from Jake Alkins as well. Other players who recorded assists for Lambeth were Tanner Smith, who had four and Josh Bumpus, Brandon Robbins, Trevor Daynes, and Jordan Spavor, who each chipped in one.

The Stars found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere 14 shots against the Lancers' defense.

Logan Ferrington made 14 saves for Lambeth on 14 shots. The Lancers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. North Middlesex incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
