A hat trick by Nathan Marcil was the highlight in Irish's 7-3 win against the Aylmer Spitfires. Marcil got on the scoresheet 22 seconds into the second period. He then added goals at 40 seconds into the second and at 7:52 into the second.The Lucan Irish made Spitfires' goaltenders to work all game long, getting 31 shots and forcing 24 saves. Lucas Easterbrook made 20 stops and Dan Black made four. Lucan also got points from Mitch Smith, who also registered one goal and one assist, Tyler Richardson, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Kody Tremblay, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Andrew Purdom, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Lucan were Zach Beaumont, who had two and Nik Petrie and Dylan Brooks, who each chipped in one. Aylmer struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 44 penalty minutes for 10 opposing power plays. Andrew Baxter also scored for Aylmer. More assists for Aylmer came via Mark Edmonds, Ryan Stapleton, and Matthew Reese, who contributed one a piece. Lucan's Andrew Gantner stopped 21 shots out of the 24 that he faced. The Irish incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. The Spitfires registered two goals on seven power play opportunities. Team's Clint Walker and Eric Nemeth were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
