The Woodstock Navy Vets could not stop the Burford Bulldogs' Peter Janeck, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-3 win.

Burford pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 36 penalty minutes.

Others who scored for Burford included Hayden Cox and Adam Harris, who each put in one. In addition, Burford received assists from Kyle Chaney, Pat Bates, Austin Elkin, Tommy Smith, and Matt Dipaolo, who each chipped in one.

Team could not crack the Bulldogs' penalty kill and was held to one power play goal while having 10 opportunities to play with the man advantage.

Woodstock was helped by Dan Haig, who registered one goal. Haig scored 11:20 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Nick Zehr assisted on the tally. Woodstock additionally got points from Zehr, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Woodstock also got a goal from Jake Schneider as well. Riley Edwards rejected 12 shots on goal for Burford. The Bulldogs registered two goals on four power play opportunities. The Navy Vets' Michael Roefs stopped 20 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Woodstock incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
