The Burford Bulldogs beat the Delhi Travellers, 6-3. Burford forced Delhi goalie Nick Heath to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots. The Bulldogs found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Burford has scored at the pace of 3.1 goals per game during the current campaign. The Bulldogs could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 38 minutes in penalties during the game. Burford was helped by Matt Dipaolo, who finished with one goal. Dipaolo scored 3:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Burford. Peter Janeck assisted on the tally. Burford additionally got points from Chris Grand, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Janeck, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Delhi also got points from Taylor Hockley, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Michael Thomlison also scored for Delhi. More assists for Delhi came via Jordan Ironside, who had one. Nick Trask rejected 28 shots on goal for Burford. Heath recorded 34 saves for the Travellers. Delhi registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. For the Travellers, Mike DeCoene was ejected from the game.
