Mike Gillespie was all over the ice for the Woodstock Navy Vets, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Woodstock's 7-4 win over the Delhi Travellers. Gillespie's tallies came on the power play at 13:12 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Woodstock and 11:16 into the third to make the score 5-4 Woodstock.The Navy Vets' offense rang up 61 shots on Delhi's net. Woodstock outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, the Navy Vets average 2.5 goals per contest. Woodstock additionally got points from Nick Zehr, who also grabbed two goals and one assist and Justin Elms, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Woodstock also got a goal from Michael Nutt as well. More assists for Woodstock came via Kyle Robertson, who had two, Jake Schneider, who had three, and Michael Roefs, Brynn Schultz, Nathan Innes, and Taylor DeClercq, who each chipped in one. The Travellers forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up 11 minors and one major for 37 minutes in penalty time. The Travellers registered three goals on one power play opportunities. Delhi ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Eggleston was ejected from the game.
