Atte Tolvanen made 37 saves to complete the shutout and led the MN Magicians Magicians to a 2-0 win against the Brookings Blizzard.

MN Magicians was led by Denis Shevyrin, who had one goal. Shevyrin scored 15:41 into the second period to make the score 1-0 MN Magicians. Kris McKenzie provided the assist.

The Magicians put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Brookings to score on any of its four power plays. MN Magicians featured an improved defense during the game. The Magicians gives up 3.0 goals on average per game. The 37 shots that MN Magicians put on net surpassed the Magicians' average of 27.3 shots per game this season.

Thomas Delaney also scored for MN Magicians. In addition, MN Magicians received assists from Cody Milligan, who had two.

The Blizzard's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five MN Magicians power plays. Brookings did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Blizzard average 2.1 goals per game. MN Magicians was unable to stop Brookings from sending pucks towards the net, and the Blizzard eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

Brookings was led by Evan Hesse, who took eight shots.

The Magicians incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Austin Priebe made 35 saves for the Blizzard on 37 shots. Brookings incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
