Austin rips Coulee Region, 6-1Omni Center Wed, Nov 27, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Austin Bruins had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over the Coulee Region Chill. Austin got the win behind a great game by Brennan Sanford, who had two goals and one assist. Sanford scored the first of his two goals at 7:21 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Austin. Sanford's next tally made the score 6-1 Austin with 1:40 left in the third period. The Bruins were on a disadvantage when Niko Hildenbrand went off the ice for tripping. Austin surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Bruins average 3.2 goals per game. The 37 shots that Austin put on net surpassed the Bruins' average of 27.1 shots per game this season. Austin also got points from Lucas Kohls, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Jay Dickman, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Austin also had goals scored by Tyler Jones and Antisin Antisin, who each put in one. More assists for Austin came via Drew Anderson, Austin Nelson, and Guillaume Leclerc, who contributed one a piece. Coulee Region's offense operated below it season average.
