VFW Sports Center    Sat, Oct 05, 2013

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Bismarck Bobcats defeated the Aberdeen Wings in a shootout 2-1 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured 12 attempts between both teams. Aberdeen's shootout goal was scored by Erik Gollenbeck. Bismarck's other shootout goal was scored by Stanislav Dzakhov.

The Bobcats came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Bismarck fell behind 1-0 after a power play goal by the Wings' Jordan Heller at 15:24 in the first period. The Bobcats knotted things up at 1-1 on a power play goal by Filip Starzynski at 4:31 in the second period.
