Wichita Falls downs MN Magicians in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Wichita Falls Wildcats' Kyle Bauman scored 4:07 into overtime to beat the MN Magicians Magicians, 4-3 (OT).

Wichita Falls was led by Bauman, who tallied one goal and one assist.

The Wildcats were below their usual level of shot production, taking 26 shots compared to the 34.0 Wichita Falls averages.

Josh Haverstrom also scored for Wichita Falls. In addition, Wichita Falls received assists from Sam Pzazza, who had one and Tyler Ledford and Evan Okeley, who each chipped in two.

With 30 shots on target during the contest, MN Magicians exceeded the 25.0 shots it averages per game this year. The Magicians struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 18 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays.

MN Magicians was helped by Tony Uglem, who grabbed one goal. Uglem scored 11:51 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Jordan Stejskal provided the assist. MN Magicians also got a goal from Will Johnson as well. Other players who recorded assists for MN Magicians were Nicholas Kuchera and Matt Colford, who contributed one a piece.

Chase Munroe rejected 27 shots on goal for the Wildcats. Wichita Falls incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Bryan Nies recorded 22 saves for the Magicians. MN Magicians registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
