Huge game by Stanley boosts California Titans 18U over Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U, 7-2

Hunter Stanley was all over the ice for California Titans 18U, as he tallied four goals and one assist in California Titans 18U's 7-2 win over Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U.

Stanley's first goal came 4:25 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:21 into the second, at 10:04 into the third, and at 15:44 into the third.

Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as California Titans 18U was able to score four times while on the power play.

California Titans 18U kept Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U's goalie busy throughout the game, and Anthony Yamnitsky made 40 saves on 47 shots. California Titans 18U surpassed its usual scoring output this season. California Titans 18U has scored at the pace of 3.3 goals per game during the current campaign.

California Titans 18U also got points from Corey Pelone, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Teemu Runsala, who also finished with one goal and four assists. Danny ODonnell also scored for California Titans 18U. Other players who recorded assists for California Titans 18U were Eric Weber, who had two, Samu Suominen, who had three, and Connor Meaney, Quinton Wunder, and Cody West, who each chipped in one.

Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 12 shots against California Titans 18U's defense. Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U was helped by Joe Sullivan, who registered one goal. Sullivan scored 8:45 into the second period to make the score 2-1 California Titans 18U. Jason Fritsche picked up the assist. Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U also got a goal from Michael Zenone as well. In addition, Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 18U received assists from Michael Tish, who had one.
