California Titans 16U rips Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U, 7-0

California Titans 16U had a six-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-0 win over Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U.

Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U's power play was ineffective against California Titans 16U's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

California Titans 16U was paced by Austin Pickford, who registered one goal. Pickford scored on the power play 5:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 California Titans 16U. California Titans 16U had gained a power play chance when Turner Banyasz was whistled for tripping. Andy Dunn assisted on the tally.

Tadeh Grigorian also scored for California Titans 16U. More assists for California Titans 16U came via Justin Apadoca, who had one and Jared Turcotte and Connor Chilton, who each chipped in two.

Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U's offense was handcuffed by California Titans 16U's defensive play, and Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U managed only nine shots on goal during the game.
