Quertermus, Lansing Capitals 16U blank Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U, 3-0

Max Quertermus made 33 saves to complete the shutout and led Lansing Capitals 16U to a 3-0 win against Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U.

Lansing Capitals 16U's penalty kill excelled, as Lansing Capitals 16U gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Lansing Capitals 16U was paced by Adam Goodsir, who racked up one goal. Goodsir scored 2:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lansing Capitals 16U. Josh Kirsch picked up the assist.

Lansing Capitals 16U stifled Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lansing Capitals 16U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Lansing Capitals 16U also got a goal from Noah Pipper as well. In addition, Lansing Capitals 16U received assists from Sean Millane and Alex Counseller, who contributed one a piece.
